"PRAISING OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST"

Wow! What a day! Blessings all the way! Actually it started this past Friday night while watching the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), where there were several different cruifiction stories. I didn't know that there have been so many different movies made on that magnificant story. Later that night I fell asleep on the couch and slept there way into the middle of the night, yet I could hear the programming and music but didn't quite know what was being said or done, but you know, when I woke up and turned off the T.V. and went back to bed, I felt a certain peaceful atmosphere as though I could feel myself being blessed throughout the night, and you know, I really was. All the next day, I felt the same way and I believe that was even better than watching any other movie. It's kind of hard to discribe. I feel as though I have learned a lot over this weekend because I went to church with my number two son and his wife. It was held in "Veterans Memorial Auditorium" here. There were approximately ten thousand people who attended. The program was awesome. They were lifting up Christ, praising Him, worshiping Him, singing for Him and even had three large wooden crosses at the front of the stage with a replica of the crown of thorns on it. I have seen and heard the story over and over again this weekend and I could see it again and again. As we entered the auditorium, we were given a packet and inside the packet was a glow light shaped like a pen and each person had a different color of about five colors. At the end of the ceremony, we were told to hold up our lights and wave them. As we looked down and all around us we could see all the beautiful glow lights waving in the honour of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There's nothing like being reminded of what a awesome God we have and his sacrifice for us. It was such a tremendous sacrifice, I cannot even think of a word that would describe it as it should be. Here's hoping you were blessed on this day of rememberance of the reserection of our LORD.

Glad you had a great time! K is all interested in knowing about his grandma H., who passed before he was born. He was excited to learn that my grandmas are his grandmas, too.

In regard to your question...I just dont think TBN is very Christian. It is all about getting what you can from Jesus and Jesus is here to make your rich and all that crap every time I turn it on. Most shows seem to teach a gospel of self-fulfillment instead of surrender and service. I have several friends who watch it...but just to make fun of the people that are on there and to diagree with what they teach
